Unraveling China's Past: Research, Conferences, and Museum Practice
Chinese history isn’t just something I study—it’s something I experience. I’ve presented my research and translations from classic Chinese at Oriental studies conferences, explored rare texts at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, and worked with centuries-old artifacts during my internship at the Hermitage Museum. With its incredible collection from Imperial China, the Hermitage gave me a firsthand look at history, while the Faculty of Oriental Studies provided the academic foundation to connect it all. These experiences have deepened my understanding of China’s past and fueled my passion for uncovering its stories.
